It is my honor and pleasure to serve as your incoming President of the Braxton Bragg Chapter of the Association of the United States Army. I want to take this opportunity to thank our President, COL (Ret.) George Quigley for his leadership and support of our chapter. The success of Braxton Bragg is accredited to our dedicated board of directors, the leadership here at Fort Bragg and our members. The support from you, our members, is what has allowed Braxton Bragg to continue the long history of superiority in support for Soldiers, Families, DA civilians, and corporate members.
This upcoming year will be one of a renewed commitment to our members regardless if they are here at Fort Bragg or fighting for freedom somewhere else. Planning for the upcoming year is already underway. We have the scholarship awards luncheon in June, along with the Army birthday. Plans are also taking place for the upcoming annual convention in October, located in Washington D.C.
I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that for every member of AUSA you have one additional voice that is represented up on Capitol Hill. In return, you have our infinite commitment to continue to protect your military benefits, while you are in pursuit of freedom. Your membership enables us to provide additional benefits to you here at Fort Bragg as well.
I encourage you to become better acquainted with your chapter. You can find us at www.braggausa.org, or contact our chapter office for a list of upcoming events or to volunteer. You can reach us at 910-396-3755.
I look forward to meeting and working with you,
